Race Formats
The 2025 Event has distances and formats to suit all abilities. From first-timers trying out our Super-sprint (our shortest race), to those looking to something a bit longer in the Sprint distance. You can get involved in a number of different ways.

Individual = competing on your own, completing the swim bike and run
​
Aquabike = single competitor, taking on the swim and bike (we don’t all love running!)
​
Relay = enter as a team of up to 3 people and each take a sport each, 1 person swims, 1 bikes and 1 runs. Play to your strengths and see how far you can push each other
Distances
The Leeds Sprint comprises of a
750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run​

The Leeds Super-Sprint comprises of a
400m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run
Location
The course is set in the beautiful Roundhay Park, in the incredible city of Leeds - home to Alistair and Jonny Brownlee. The park has played host to a number of iconic triathlon races including the World Triathlon Series and in 2025 the UK Ironman race.

The open water swim takes place in the onsite Waterloo lake.
​
The bike course races along the local park avenues, with closed roads. There are a couple of kicker hills but some great sloping gradients to really put the pedal down.

The run takes in the stunning park grounds, in front of the main house and lapping up the atmosphere and crowds

Final timings will be confirmed closer to the date​
